XP Home vs. XP Pro

I've used both/have both on numerous different PC's and I can't tell what the difference is between the two other than price...

XP Pro gives you the ability to reach Google.com so you can research stuff

It also has a significantly longer support life than XP Home because it's a business-level OS. Support for XP Home ends two years after the successor is released (Vista), whereas support for XP Pro ends September 2013, if I recall my lifecycles correctly.

Well, for us common users with home networks, the difference is significant.

Comparison

For most home network users the main differences are the ability to add to a windows domain, Home cannot, and NTFS permissions instead of craptaculous Simple File sharing (home)
