XP Home restore disk for Thinkpad

I had so many things installed on my thinkpad I decided to reformat and reinstall the OS.

The laptop had Win XP home on it (the OS it came with). I no longer have the original IBM restore disks, but I had a Win XP Home CD that came with my Dell. During the installation, there was a problem reading the disk, so now I cannot reinstall the OS. I also had a Dell XP Pro disk, which I installed instead, so the thinkpad is working on a 30 day key.

Where can I get a copy of Win XP Home? I already have the product key, which is on the laptop, just need the software itself. Is there a site where I can download it?

I called Microsoft, but they told me to call IBM / Lenovo.

Thanks!

Why do you need a new version of the software? All you should have to do is call MS and activate it that way.

EDIT: And as an answer to your question, there is no legal site where you can just download a copy of XP.
