XP home or pro for GAMING?

I basically use my computer for gaming, and otherwise just surfing the net and using WORD. is there any noticable differance between XP home and pro or should i just keep pro incase I want to explore the higher levels later on

Having options you don't need won't bother you. Deciding you want an option and finding out you don't have it will....

its not worth the extra money for gaming, you wont notice any differences.

although if cost isnt any issue, go with pro

I use pro, for that "someday" I finally build a dual processor system.

or if you want to have dual monitor support you will need pro. if you are on a home network or live with other people and don't want anyone touchin your rig pro is deffinitly the choice.
