XP home laptop with NT4 domain

I am trying to get a laptop with XP home to simply connect to the Internet through an NT4 domain. Is this possible? I've tried everything with no luck. I figured it'd be as simple as pointing to the gateway, but apparently not.

Any help is appreciated.
 
Accessing the internet has nothing to do with domain membership. Configure your client so it has the correct gateway and make sure it has the correct DNS servers configured.
