Okay, I'm not really up to date on these things, I just upgraded from win98 to winxp. Win98 lets you put in a password when you share a drive over network. I don't see that option on xp home edition. How do I do that?

Do a Windows Help search for sharing and security. Follow the little walk-through to set rights and permissions for specific files and folders on your PC.

Honestly, I don't even know how to open Help in Windows???😕
Click Start and look at the right hand side of the menu. There is a "Help" that you can select to open help (this assumes Windows XP's default view). In "classic" view it should still be on the start menu. Alternatively, open My Computer. Click "Help" -> Contents and Index. Alternatively hit F1.
