XP Home Edition (Clean Install)?

I am able to do a clean install with Win2K Pro, Upgrade Version, as long as I have proof of prior versions of Windows.

Is it possible to do a clean install with Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade Version?

I think you can only use XP Pro as an upgrade for Win2K Pro!
I'll try to confirm.

Yes, I did a clean install with win xp it just confirms that you have a disk with a prior windows os.

I was hoping for that. I'm buying my son XP Home Edition so that he can move up from Win98.
