XP Home CD/DVD Autorun Pops Open Contents Only

In XP Home SP3 I've been cleaning out an infected box for someone and I noticed the cd/dvd autorun wasn't working so I tried just about all the reg fixes online I could find and I also ran the MS Autofix.exe files they have but none of them have worked.

The best I've come so far is, after putting in a cd/dvd it just pops open the contents, like as if you did the 'Explore' option...

Anyone know when it's doing this how I might be able to get it to autorun now?

By the way I read that if there are 'NoDriveAutoRun' options in the registry to remove those and there were like 3 of them I removed, so not sure this was good to do or not?

There was a recent patch to change Windows XP Autorun behavior. This is now the default behavior I believe. Check your windows updates.
