XP home and Office 2000 error

I have XP Home and Office 2000. I just had to reinstall XP home and all the latest patches and drivers. When I went to install my Office 2000 (I do have the key and it's all legit) like I have done a few times before, it won't let me! XP is asking for my XP professional disk 1 or some similar nonsense. What is this? How can I get around this? Please assist.
