xp home 64 bit Yes/no?

In XP, only XP Professional has a 64-bit version. Also, just in case you are thinking about it, you can't actually "upgrade" a 32-bit Windows computer to 64-bit XP. You have to do a clean install of the 64-bit OS.

If you don't need it, don't do it. My brother has XP64 and it is like the red-headed step child of the windows operating systems. There are few updates, and many applications don't run well. If you need a bunch of ram for something like solidworks, go for it, but don't use it for a regular desktop/gaming system.

Just my 2 cents 🙂
