I'm running XP pro on a MSI k8n neo platinum nforce3 socket 754 mobo w/ dual IDE 160gb maxtors on the nforce raid. Since i've installed windows xp 64 and windows xp pro, both have had the same issue. When my computer boots and hits the windows screen with the scrolling bar, it pauses half way to being lit up (when its grey fading in). It sits at this stage with no apparent activity for about 10 minutes, then lights up and goes on and starts regularly. Does anyone know what this issue is and how i can fix it?
