XP hanging at startup

I have been tweaking a bit lately but I don't think that is the problem. When I start up XP it is starting to hang. I can still use the OS but the start bar is in-accessable for about 3 or 4 minutes then it pops up. It started to day but I tweaked the services that start up and it quit, I then installed the new via drivers and it started again.

i am in the same postion you are, i will try to access the start bar, but i cant for about 3-4 minutes. i dont know what it is either

Here is the Microsoft troubleshooter that tells you how to selectively disable different files on startup so you can figure out what is hanging you up.

If you know that some drivers might be causing it, you can always try the rollback drivers utility in the properties section.

Also you can always do a total system restore to a date before your problems started.
