XP+GF3+OpenGL=crash

Hey guys. I seem to be having a problem when exiting OpenGL games in that my computer goes into a hard lock; can't move the mouse, can't three-finger salute (Ctrl+Alt+Del). I'm using the 22.80 drivers. This is all running on an AMD Duron, Abit KT7E. I've got the 4.34 4-in-1's. This is really starting to annoy me because I don't want to boot into Win2k just to play CS. I have been having this same problem along with many others. This occurs only in Counterstrike and in XP. I have really hated this problem, since I only have XP on my computer, and am anxiously waiting for a new patch from the CS guys. If this doesn't happen soon, I'm going back to Win2k, just for the more stability. Another reason I want to go back to Win2k is because Aquanox is not supported by XP, and I would really like to see the eye candy that I've heard so much about(and why I got the danged Geforce 3 for $300 when it first came out anyways). Sorry I couldn't help, but hopefully this will bump your post up and someone who can offer help can help us both.
