I have setup a 2 machine network at home through a hub, no internet sharing. One running XP Pro and the other running XP Home. I?m having trouble sharing files of the XP Pro machine. I can share the CD-Rom, Zip and floppy drive of both machines plus , the printer.. Just can?t seem to get folders or hard drives of the Pro machine to share.

First off,
Thanks to everyone that gave me suggestions/advice for correcting my problem.

One of these I think was causing my problem.
1. Went to www.practicallynetworked.com/ and followed their directions on file sharing. It?s possible that I screwed something up there.
2. I have had XP Pro running for a long time. Looking back in some of the stuff I write when I make changes I noticed I did get into ?services.mcs? and made changes but I don?t recall which. I?m leaning more towards I changed a setting in "services.msc".
Anyway got a good deal on a bigger hard drive put that in and installed Pro on it, everything working fine now on that end.

However, now when I get on the internet (dial-up) I can surf around for a while and then I get a message as follows?
? Windows must restart because Remote Procedure Call services terminated unexpectedly.? ? Shut down was initiated by NT Authority System.?
Hopefully this problem is simple!!
