XP error message "16 bit Windows Subsystem"???

Archman

Hi there, this error message comes up once in a while, and I am not familiar with it or what the issue is. Is there a solution to this that is not complicated?

16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for runnning MS-DOS and MIcrosoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Thanks for the help in advance 😀

hmmm... seems to not be able to find the directory for output, nor will it sometimes access the directory on the CD.

Any ideas?

thanks

Well, if the system32 directory doesn't exist then you have other problems. Can you try another cd? Can you verify that you can access the system32 dir?
