I have about 4 gigs free, but even sitting idle, XP starts to eat away 1 meg at a time. Any ideas why this is going on. Virtual Mem settings have been played with.. And have swtiched it all to a diff partition, but still eventually run out of hard drive space on my C Partition

Any help is apprecaited.

Do you have system restore enabled? If so, set a lower limit on how much disk space it can use.

I just did a search and found this. I have the same problem only it's more than one meg at a time. I go from 10+ gigs on my drive c to fillintg it up at 24 gigs in a pretty short time. System restore is disabled and so is hibernate. The settings in pagefile is good also. This just started about a week ago. I'm lost on this one. When I reboot it goes back to where it should be. Any idea's?
