ok, i have two questions here
First, every since i install XP Pro, i always have that Low disk warning problem.
i do have at least 1G of free disk right after installation, but after couple weeks.
The space is decreaseing without installing any programs. I move the Internet Temp folder
to other drive, clean the disk, delete trash, problem still remain. now i only have 200mb
and i check my disk space by chose all the folders in the drive, it only takes 3G(total 4.5G).
But if i just left click on the system drive itself, it says 4.3G is been used. where is the rest of
1.3G goes??

Second, I am using a SCSI only system. In order installing XP i need to boot up from CDROM first,
but after done with installation. I have to keep that XP CD in the drive othersise my system won't
boot up. I guess it has something to do with SCSI ID cuz it will recomize my cd rom as disk 1...i am
not sure.......

Any input will be very helpful...thank you

There are two things in XP that use mucho HDD space if left uncontrolled - the Page File and System Restore. You can turn S/R off, but then you lose a valuable tool. You can also minimize it by visiting the System Restore Tab in Control Panel, System and, in the System Restore Tab, check SETTINGS for each drive partition and move the slider to MINIMUM (1%). Default is MAXIMUM. :(

You can also limit your Page File size.
