I decided trying to switch my basic drive into a dynamic drive just to see if it would provide for any better performance on my raid array. After converting it per MS's instructions I rebooted and everything was fine. When I rebooted the next time (next morning) from a cold boot I got this error after the XP splash screan:
Isass.exe - system error The endpoint format is invalid
Anyway I hit enter (as it says OK) and then it reboots...where it will keep doing this if I don't intervean. I hit f8 and boot using the last settings that worked, and it boots flawlessly. But what is causing this error and how can I fix it. It's not a major priority now as I will probably be reinstalling the os because I have really screwed with a ton of stuff I didnt' want to. I just want to know what's wrong and how can I fix it. I'm also going to be hopefully installing Mandrake 8.2, slackware, freebsd, or redhat soon as a dual boot...so i'll be redoing everything soon anyway.
