XP does not display my volume control

XP does not display my volume control
A search for volume in C drive found no volume control...
How do I find it?
And is there a way to put it near my calendar on the bottom right?

what I had to do is find the sndvol32.exe file in my win2k over writen by winXP Hard drive I still have and about to be replaced with mirror XP freshly installed on the drive I couls not find that file on. I then copied it to System32 folder in Crive XP fresh Install drive)
and now I still need to find a way to place it at the bottom right vorner near my clock

I did go to Control pannel and locate it there but after I already had coppied it from the D: drive

sorry I reread your post and did chech the "place in task bar" and now I have it
