XP Disconnecting mapped drives

I've noticed this on multiple XP machines. When a restart is done, the drives will still be under MY COMPUTER but they are disconnected. When you try to access them, it prompts for a login and you have to log in again to connect to the drives. Does anyone have or a solution to fix this problem?
