XP conflict?

Have XP pro.
TnT2
S/B live (VIA 4.1435 drivers)
Midtown Madness 2 worked fine till XP.
Game loads up fine,till you need to choose a car.
Cars are all blocky,and if you try to play everthing is blocky.
All other M/S games work fine.
Do get a bit of a crackle sound when playing Q2.
Is thier better drivers to try?
