XP Boot Errors

I recently deleted many of the files from the temp folder, under local settings, on my computer. After doing so, Windows sometimes has trouble loading. It will get past the XP loading screen, but then just restart. It will then load fine the second time through, but I can't figure out why it's crashing the first time. I know i should have left the files in the recycle bin, but im an idiot. I'm not sure what files I may have deleted, but apparently they weren't as unnecessary as many think

Check the event log for what's causing the problem. Have you installed any new hardware\software? Check this and let us know.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer

Look in System and see if you see error messages in there and post them here. That would help.
