Is there a way to force XP to keep my settings for IE 6 for the toolbars @ the top of the window? I want them arranged a certain way and sometimes when I reboot, it lose those settings. Could someone tell me how to keep them where i want them and not to reset their positions. It is rather ANNOYING!!! I just locked them into place, and I will see if that does it. Someone let me know. I know that this is minor, but oh well. LMK

I'm almost positive this will be useless for you, but sometimes when I hit CTRL before closing the window it will force to save the settings. Hope this helps.

YEAH, THAT WORKED. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM ACTUALLY NOW VERY PISSED OFF WITH XP AND IE 6. Y CANT THIS STUPID OS SAVE SOME MINOR SETTING THAT IS WHAT I WANT. IS IT THAT STUPID. I MEAN COME ON. I TRIED THE CTRL BEFORE CLOSING IT AND IT JUST SETS IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS. I AM BEGINNING TO THINK THAT IE6 IS A PIECE OF WASTED SPACE ON THE HARD DRIVE AND TAKES UP TOOOOOOOOO MUCH RAM IN THE FIRST PLACE. I MEAN WHAT IS THE DEAL.

Sorry for the caps. I needed to vent. I am open to any more ideas or thoughts on this situation.

Right-click on the toolbar and uncheck "lock the toolbars." When you are done arranging, right-click and check "lock the toolbars."
