I am planning on doing a dual boot setup. Presently I am running WinME, and am going to add a second drive then load XP on it. I am trying to do my homework and get all the downloads I need before I begin installing. My question/plan is to install XP and download any windows updates. Then install the original software that came with the card. Upon completing that, install the latest XP drivers provided by creative. Do I have this right or is there a better approach?

Thank you in advance.

Any assistance or information would be greatly appreciated.:)

I'd recommend using the ref. drivers from nvidia, or some version thereof. Creative driver support isn't very good, so you'd probably have better luck with the detanators from www.nvidia.com. good luck with your dual boot.

Agreed, I have the same vid card, and I just installed winXP Pro less than 24 hours ago. I got the most recent XP compatible detonators from Guru3D . When I tried to run the installer under XP (which was using a standard driver), I got a message saying that the driver wasn't digitally signed, but that's probably because it is a "leaked" reference driver. Good luck.
