XP and Passport

On some sites (e.g. windowsbetaweb) when I have to use my passport login, XP insists on using a wizard to associate my passport account with my XP login. I DO NOT want to do this. That is way too much information about me being put together 😉. I got around it by signing into hotmail which doesn't do that stupid wizard and then returning to windowsbetaweb, but is there a way to disable the passport stuff in XP?

Microsoft carefully set the pages up to render poorly / not work right in Mozilla 🙁
