XP and Partition Magic 7.0

Here's a lesson learned that might help some of you. After several very successful upgrades from ME to XP Pro, I turned to Partition Magic 7 . . . XP compatible, right? Not if it was installed under ME! It falls into the same category as Norton System Works 2002 and a couple of other packages. They must be uninstalled and reinstalled in XP to make them XP team players.

Now PowerQuest has posted an update to PM 7 . . . makes it PM 7.01.

It works fine in XP as long as it is installed there from scratch.
