XP and MSN Messenger Auto Sign-In Help?

Well, any XP person knows that MSN Messenger is TOO tightly integrated into XP. I like MSN Messenger but I dont want it signing on all the time. The secret to avoiding that is to not click the checkbox to save your password before you sign in. But this weekend a cousin used my comp and now her screenname is locked into signing on all the time. How do I clear that out?

Yes, I know that you can go to Control Panel->Users and change your .net passport setting but thats not what I am asking for. I want to know how to clear out the sign in area completely. Please please please help me.

Well, you can do what I do, and that's remove any instances of running on bootup from the registry. There's one for /Run and I think there's one that actually puts it back into /run if you delete it.. get both of those.

That way it'll only run if you want it to.. or use outlook express, but that's another hack as well.

I don't know what I did, but I can't make it RUN
I'm not really sure what I did but I think I blocked it from starting automatically, but it's still there in the Program Files Dir and if I try to run from there-- just nothing. I even reinstalled it. Same thing, - hourglass then nothing.

(Needed it to help someone with remote assistance)
