XP and ME dual boot question again

CMOS

Hi,
Okay, I have read all the previous articles addressing this issue, but I have a different situation. Right now I have 2 hard drives, one 40 gig and one 20 gig. I have installed XP on my 40 gig drive, and everything is fine. I want to install ME onto the 20 gig drive, but I don't know where to start. I know that it's not possible to install ME after XP, but is it possible if they are on different harddrives? After the installation, will I be able to see files from both hds under either OS? What kind of file system I should use(NTFS, FAT32)? Or is it better to do a clean install of ME first then install XP again on "the same" hd, and just leave the second hd as file storage. Any input is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
CMOS

it's better to just install ME and XP. But it's not good to install both OS on the same hard drive unless you have two different partition on that one hard drive
