I have a KT7A Raid board, and XP Pro... for some freakin' reason I install it fine, it runs for a couple days to a few weeks, then when booting it says "windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: windows\system32\config\system" Yes, I'm installing the 4 in 1 drivers and things like that... I have _NO_ idea what's causign this.

Please, does ANYBODY have ANY idea? or is there some easy way to recover from this aside from re-installing XP?

No offense intended, but where did you get this copy of XP?

It is OEM from some online retailer?

So you are blaming the KT133a chipset because you have a flawed install of winXP?

Its not the chipset's fault. I use that same chipset with XP and it works great.

I have received this error before when I had a flawed install.

Try the recovery/repair proceedure.

Try buying a book on XP.

Try not installing the 4-in-1's.

Try a newer BIOS if available.
