Heres an XP problem, I think. Shrek came with a DVD player called Interactual Player 2.0. You can watch the DVD on any player but you can only access the DVD-ROM features with the Interactual Player that you install off the disk. On 2 XP systems I get the error "Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem "
Ive tried all the res/color adjustments but I'm having the same problem on 2 XP machines with no luck, but it does work on my WinME laptop so I'm assuming its an XP problem. Is anyone able to use the Interactual player on XP? I need to know so I can start figuring out where the problem is.
-The app I'm trying to get off the Shrek DVD is the Shrek Recording Studio. You can let a kid act out a scene with Shrek, Donkey or whoever by choosing a character and recording his/her lines on the computer so that they are in the scene. Pretty cool, but it only works through the Interactual player and nothing else.
Thanks for any help.
