XP and games?

Before I install my copy of XP Home I'd like to know others' experience good or bad with gaming and XP, and whether or not the fix posted at http://www.xp-refresh.net/ is effective???

You still need to use a third party software for gaming above 60Hz(OpenGL) and 75Hz(D3D) for 2K and XP,it`s not really a problem since there`re a few third party software program fixes for it,as for gaming well most modern games will run fine and all the latest games support XP anyway,for a complete list of games on compatibility with XP go

Only game I remem wouldnt play 4 me was an old copy of NBA Jam extreme, which really didnt break my heart all that much.

And Id suggest a MINIMUM of 256mb DDR ram & 512mb of DDR ram seems OPTIMAL for gaming with WinXp.


Im currently using THIS refresh fix for XP, but ive also had favorable results with the Nvidia refresh rate fix & Rivatuner.

I switched Refreshforce cuz i didnt need a newer version everytime i upgraded to new detonator drivers.
RefreshForce works with anything...PERIOD.
