XP and .cfm help needed

Hey Techies,

I need help with XP. Since I have installed it, when I tried to access the search.cfm from the forums, it's hasn't been working... it comes up with a pop-up message asking me to open/save file; thus, I tell it to open and select internet explorer. It doesn't load anything and the IE explorer just ignores my command.

help me with the XP prob!!
