xp and cd-r burn proof problem

sorry x my english
i have installed win xp and all si ok but when a try to record a cd the t-rex flash and activate the burnproof continuosly . a cdrom scsi ultraplex 40x read ad 8x !! the drivers are attached to a adaptec 29160 .
on win 2k all is ok and i think the t-rex is the best and the last scsi cd recorder!! only 4 minutes for cd!
i make for job about 50 cd to day!!!

any suggestion for xp? thanks!!! :|
