XP and AMD 4in1 Drivers *Update/Question*

When upgrading to XP should I install the 4in1 Drivers or does XP already have the proper drivers buit in?

EDIT:
I installed XP on a clean install. I have nvidia 23.11 drivers for a Geforce3. Everything seems to be ok in general, however sometimes when I try to run counterstrike from Gamespy arcade the computer automatically restarts itself. Other times it works fine. What's my problem, and do I need new video or via drivers?

<< Just really need the AGP 4.10 drivers. >>

according to the via faq, the only thing installed from the 4n1's for xp is the inf driver for power management.

You don`t need to install the 4in 1 drivers since XP has native support,I do since I like to have the latest drivers, btw the VIA AGP 4.10 driver you can install on it`s own,I believe it`s not in the latest 4.37a drivers but probably be in the next ones, yes I`ve that installed as well.

So the bottom line is it`s really up to you.

🙂

I didn't install any VIA drivers with XP. And yes, I do have a VIA-based board 🙂

Haven't had any problems, so I'm not gonna mess with it.

I take it you`ve auto reboot enabled in XP,anyway you can try a few things like run CS in Win98 compatiabilty mode or D3D,I did have a problem of having XP lockup on exit of CS and I found that running it D3D or 98 Compatiabilty mode with OpenGL solved this.

You did install the Windows 2000/XP NVidia Refresh Rate Fix as well?
