xp and a usb wireless

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

My Son has a computer running xp pro. I set up his computer at my home and installed a Linksys Wusb54g wireless adapter it worked great at my home. When he got it home he got everything setup and running plugged in the wireless USB adapter the computer will shut down and restart but when it come back up it comes up to the screen that has the start in save mode or regular windows but the computer will not start it just keeps shutting down and going back to that screen, When you unplug the USB wireless it will boot up ok and run great. You can bring the computer back to my house and it will run great and the USB wireless will not shut down the computer. Does any one know what I would need to do to get this to work over at his house; we both have the same kind of router a linksys WRT54g

Thanks
