Finally installed my new XP-90, and it already gives 10 °C less heat at load than my old 7000B AlCu. How much stressing should I do until the thermal paste sets in right? I usually have WCG running whenever my comp's on.

It's not really about stress, just overall use. I think 50hrs is the recommended time. But don't run it 50hrs straight. The mfrs say you should boot it/reboot it often. So I would say two weeks, shutting it down every night and booting it up the next morning, and running it the whole day.

They actually say up to 200 hours and several thermal cycles (shutting down and pc cooling off to the ambient room temp then firing it back up). hmm thats.....ummm....8 days give or take of 24 hour usage per day.

That's pretty much how I use it anyway. Excellent. :)
