his feedback, while a little hairy, seems not bad after you reed the negatives. he drop ships so if they get caught up he gets crud. I think I would consider buying from this dude.

here's a Q, going from a amd xp 2400+ to a amd xp 3200+ going to make much of a difference??

I was just wondering the same thing. It probably wouldn't be worth it just save the money for an a64 someday that's what i'm doing.

I personally wouldn't buy from a seller with 97%. There are too many better sellers out there with 99+%. This sellers problem is he takes way too long to ship. Even some of the people that left + feedback complained about the length of time to get the product. I suppose if you are not in any kind of rush and are willing to wait a month or so than he might be alright for you.

Oh, also about the rebate. I am not sure I wouldn't count on it. I've never heard of an eBay seller personally giving rebates. Jeez, they are hard enough to collect from large, legitimate cpmpanies.

The guy sells for 170 + 10 shipping. That's 180 out of pocket. It's 120 if you get the rebate after 8-10 weeks. You can just get an OEM XP3200+ from Pricewatch for 130 shipped and buy a cheap HS/Fan for 8-10 bucks from SVC.com

why in the world would you waste so much money on a 3200+ xp when you can oc a 2500+ to 2.4 ghz aircooled EASILY

I agree. Or even an A64 2800+ for $10 more..I don't see why people think this is such a good deal.

what a joke. cross your fingers for that rebate. for the $180 you are shelling out, you can get a socket 754 sempron 3100+ plus mobo combo at fry's.

I'm loving my $59 combo (barton 2500+ @ 2300mhz/ nforce2 mobo) more and more 😀 .

Just buy a mobile barton 2500 and OC it. I built a system a couple weeks ago with a mobile 2500 on an Asus A7N8X deluxe (r2) that is running at 2.2GHz(200x11) with air cooling (SLK7). The Vcore is 1.7v and it idles at under 40°C.

You can buy the mobile 2500s for under $100 shipped.

Buy a 2600+ Sempron 754 & overclock it. Will perform better than any socket A system and is cheaper than most of them.
