So a few days ago I reinstalled Windows Xp after formatting both of my hard drives. I have a n AMD Athlon XP 2200+ with a speed of ~1800 Mhz. In my BIOS, however (my mobo is ecs elitegroup n2u400-a) it lists my processor speed as 1350 Mhz and in dxdiag, it also lists my processor speed as ~1.3 Ghz. What happened to my processor? Did I screw it up? Thanks.

You accidentally set your FSB to 100MHz. Setting it back to 133MHz should fix it. Do this in the BIOS.

Your CPU multiplier is 13.5. 13.5 x 100 = 1350. 13.5 x 133 = 1795.5 ~ 1800.

thanks man. My dxdiag recognizes my 2200 and so does my BIOS. Can you put an FSB higher than the regular, because I wanted to know if I could push it up higher to 200 Mhz or something. Thanks.
