I care. Wanna send it to me? :)

Those are very good temperatures. Is this the 30, 38 or 50cfm Delta?

LoL, not really :D this is with the 38cfm Delta. I was sooooooooo suprised after I fried my T-bird (Thermister install, dont ask :( ) I got this onw and installed it with the SK6.
When I booted up and played some RF, I brought up Via HM and was like Holy Sheeeaat! 40C! no way.....I was getting 46C full load with my T-bird.

I would consider lapping that SK-6. Those temps aren't extraordinary by any means. I would say average. I'm getting that good with a cheap old Taisol. Youshould be getting less than 40 at load.

You should be getting better temps than that dude, when I had my Alpha PAL 6035 with 38CFM Delta on my 1800+ my temps were around 32C, and never went past 34C*. Now I have a rinky dink coolermaster which keeps the temp at around 40C and never passes 41C. I hate the whine created by the Delta :|

Bdog231,

You can't make that claim, because:

You don't know his ambient case temp
YOu dont' know how good his case cooling is
You dont' know what mb he has, each MB reads temps differently.

My XP1600 and PAL8045 w/ YS-Tech 48.5 cfm fan runs 34C idle, 39C full load
My ambient case temp is a fairly steady 28C, so I guess it's safe to say I run +6C idle, +11C full load.

Considering I have 20C "clearance" before I begin to degrade my hardware, I'd call my cooling performance adequate.

Agreed. It's so surprising how much misinformation there is on this forum, regarding Socket A CPU temperatures...

Well you can bet money I'm never lapping my hsf...wayyyyyyyy too much work for 3 degrees. I will either be content (oh wait! I already am) or buy some more fans!
