I didn't have a problem at all with my OCZ Platinum...plenty of room there, Probably the only memory with big enough heat spreaders would be the crazy Corsair XMS with the stupid LED temp display....lol
also the XP120 will fit, but it will block the first PCI-E slot, if you go the ThermalRight website they will list the compatible MOBO's for the XP-120, it states this information right there.
Think about the XP-90, I have it on my DFI Ultra-D with a Vantec Tornado (noisy but at over 120 CFM it works well). I have great temps on my machine right now, if noise is an issure go with a Panaflo fan, nice and quiet and move air very well.
