Xp-120 on asus av8 vs Xp-90 on msi neo2 platinum

I'm looking to OC a 90nm 3200+, orginally planned on the MSI board, but apparently it has creative diffrences with the xp-120 (wont fit) and now I'm considering jumping to the old via chipset, because I love asus, and they seem to have no problem with the 120. l could always get the xp-90 for the MSI, but I'm wondering if I could actually achieve better OC and less noise (bigger fan) with the AV8 and 120.

Get the XP-90!!!! It is HUGE!!!!! I used it with a 3000+ (s939 90nm) and got to 2.5 with no problems at all!!!! My temps moved 2c from the stock 1.8GHz. I used it with the EPoX. The XP-120 is nice but it is a mamoth and it is so expensive compaired to its little brother.

I also used the panaflow, 56CFM varity and have nothing but praise to say about it. I bought mine from here. They had it to me super fast and I loved that I could pick a wrap color for the needed 3pin to motherboard adaptor.

hope this helps

yup that was helpfull, although the xp-120 is only 10 bucks more 😉 you have restart problems with that epox at all, I believe there was an review saying that it would hang on reboots?
