The shipping always kills Xoxide deals - I was going to buy $6 worth of fans, but shipping came to $7, although no tax in CA.....

If he works for them he also knows alot about directron. That was his other post. Also he joined yesterday and not today for the one post. So you might want to cut him some slack.

Also I have had many orders from Xoxide and so far no problems. No delays or anything of that nature. I will continue to do businesswith them. Normally I just buy on the sales like this one though. I wish they had another good deal on 92mm fans...

One thing I've noticed about computer mod sites, is that their descriptions are dreadful.

For instance, I was trying to figure out what exactly the "USB massage ball" did, and the description is something along the lines of "Everyone has late nights of work or gaming, this works great for those nights!"

Instead of telling me what I want and when I want it, how about actually telling me what the thing is and what it does?

Their reseller rating is high though. I ordered some stuff from them not so long ago, it did come in kind of late. But a representative told me that they were backed up in the shipping department and apologized, so i guess its ok. Xoxide is not that bad of a company right?

What business I've had with them was ok by me.

I bought a Zalman CNPS-7000-Cu about a year ago which I never even opened the container. Can I use it on an Athlon 64?

Nevermind...
CNPS7000-Cu
CNPS7000A-Cu

Yet another edit:
Gee, all I needed to do was look at the back of the package. Dohhhh!

Does there honestly need to be a description of that item? "Gee, I wander what a massage ball does? Oh look, on the page it says that its motor goes at 3600 rpm and is powered by USB!"

I had no problem understanding what they were talking about on the page for the USB Massage Ball, and see no reason why you wouldn't have either...

PS: On their 4th of July sale, I ordered the Func Surface 1030 from them (black). They had the best price I had seen for the surface to date (14 bucks shipped second day air), and it got to me in a timely manner. I have had great dealings with them and would recommend them to friends.

Yes you can. That's actually what I'm using on my Athlon 64 3200+ right now. I love how it looks! Make sure that you have the mounting plate for it though (the different mounting pieces for the different processors/mobos should have come in the package for the HSF).

Here's what I love, in the description of the massage ball:

ready to relax that cramped hand, arm, shoulder, head, neck or whatever

-and-

Also a great gift for a stressful buddy.

I guess you could plug this in, set it on your chair, then sit down?? ROFLMAO J/K!! ;) :Q

There's more to it than what was said there though. I can guarantee that. It could have been just miscommunication and then it turned nasty from there. I do feel that both parties could have handled it better.

I bought my Tsunami from them. Got free shipping, so I got it for about $125-$130 shipped. Came in great condition, fast and easy. No problems whatsoever. Also, I ordered some CCFL at the same time and they sent it by a different method so that it would get here faster (got the package in about 2 days, free shipping as well).

Wait until 10P.M. Sunday night and I believe Xoxide offers free shipping for an hour. Thats how I did it anyways.

sry, didn't know how to make the words thru the link thing :-/ I use to know but had forgotten. I know about directron b/c i live in houston which is where they are located and they have a showroom and events here. I think xoxide is like in new york or something though, just trying to post the sale :'(

edit: also i have ordered stuff from there many times, (mouse pad, cold cathode light, 2 cases, and some fans) w/ no problems, but their cust service isn't that great at all.

edit2: there, went to see how to post links correctly, put a bag on my head, made my profile public so ppl won't be all grypy just b/c someone is new, i mean god forbid.

But if you never think you need to return something or don't mind getting stomped on, help yourselves! Just FYI for people who may not want to take a chance on doing business with slime. Certainly not trying to sway anyone because unlike Jason from Xoxide, I have morals.

Also the reason their reseller ratings is high is because they offer X-points(To redeem for future products) to people who give them good ratings.

Read the 5th review. Do you really think a CUSTOMER posted that? And also most of their reviews are posted by people with very few reviews. See ms like they just signed up to give Xoxide some good numbers. Gee, I wonder who is so brilliant?

There seems to always be bad experiences with every company... it's funny. Xoxide's reseller rating is quite decent, and would go right along with where I would rank them from the service I've received from them in my past purchases. This hot deals forum is not a place where you are to complain/moan (see "Brag and Moan). The guy just posted that there was a sale; he has had good dealings with the company and so have I. Let's leave all the flinging of (BLEEP) in the Brag & Moan section of the forum and just enjoy the hot deals.

Like I said, this is for people who want to know about this. You can still enjoy their hot junks if you think they are still great. Just buyer beware.

Livan is warning people of his experience w/this crappy company. I'd rather have him warn me here than go to a thread not everyone reads.

The reason why they have such high reseller ratings is because they basically bribe their customers to do so.

I've had to return a case front that was broken, posted in thier forums and called them, they sent a new one out very fast w/o questions. Everyone has bad experiences with companies, but it seems like ur holding on to urs to the death 0_0
