Xoxide Cases...any good?

Check the list of PSUs on the site, you'll get a pretty good idea if it fits or not (based on other PSU's size).
Those really aren't my type of case, but I'd choose the second one 😛

I recently got a Super Lanboy for a PC-DL system and have not been very happy. The supplied 120mm fans are very quiet but very poor at cooling. I've replaced both with more powerful fans and reversed the rear one to blow inward (someone recommended this in a dual processor forum) which helped cooling and system stability, but now I need to cut a blow hole or continue to run it sans side panel. If you are planning to oc / run alot of equipment, be ready to make some changes to it.

Huh? I have a Super LAN Boy and I've been really pleased with the low noise and good cooling. I have a power supply with a 140mm fan (TTGI Superflower) and I'm running a P4 2.53@3.33GHz nice and cool. What CPU/video do you have in there?

so what case do u suggest I get? the lanboy was used in a PC upgrade magazine when they built their ultimate computer. hmmm. Should i go with something from cooler master, thermaltake, or maybe another antec model? maybe i'll go with those acrylic cases heh

Zap,

The Super Lanboy has an ASUS PC-DL motherboard running dual 1.6GHz Xeon's overclocked to 2.4GHz.
I got in on the low voltage Xeon deal posted in the Hot Deals forum from a month ago.
I'm using fanless CoolerMaster E3W-NPTXC-01 heatpipe heatsinks, so good cooling is a must.
I swapped out a Nvidia 5900 for an ATI 9550SE to lower temps.
I run four SETI@Home command line processes simultaneously, which max out the CPU's.

It's actually running a lot cooler now that I switched out the fans and have the rear fan blowing inward.
Once I cut the blow hole at the top, I should be able to close the side panel and not have the system crash due to overheating.

PS: Don't get me wrong, the Super Lanboy is a good case, better I'm sure than the acrylic case mentioned. I'm just using it for something it was not designed to handle. I'm still searching for the ideal case, one with 120mm fans front & rear, a 92mm side fan over the cpu area, with a side-facing, screwless 3.5" drive cage, that looks great and is less than $40!
