Hey guys,
Recently I've been having a lot of static using a mic with this sound card. I use a voice chat program while playing battlefield 3. Within the past week, I bought a Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card and for some reason only (I've noticed) when I'm playing battlefield 3 and using a mic, there is a great amount of static and white noise.
A friend has a similar problem, he has a Xonar product and he noticed it happening after installing a GTX 6 series video card. I have a gtx 580, not sure if that would matter.
I've searched and can't find a fix for this, anyone have any suggestions?
