Yeah, I think I'll check it out myself... I've never done any game programming really, but I could see myself really enjoying writing some cool 2D games. A lot of great flash games could turn into Xbox games.

It's almost enough to get me to buy an Xbox360, though the xbox distribution requirements are annoying:

- game players must join $100/year club too, not just developers
- players must have development tools installed on their PC
- you must supply your source to players
- players must compile and download games from PC to xbox

I suspect this will mostly be used for people making games for their portfolio if they're hoping to break into the game development business.

... and possibly for PC games, in place of Flash and Win32 like mugs said.
