i'm watching the preproduction clip. Wolverine and Sabertooth are brothers?!

WTF?

Holy Origin rework batman.

Wonder what other history they rewrote?

edit:
Why in god's unholy name did Gambit stop Wolverine from decapitating Sabertooth's head?!

edit2:
If the adtamadium bullets penetrated his skull, shouldnt that mean he now has a permannent hole in his head?
unless his mutant healing factor can repair adtamantium?!?!

This is a movie that is not out ATM. Ww can only assume it is a pirated movie. A discussion on vacations is being done.

they have hinted at for years in the comic. But they finally did a basic DNA test to prove it was not him.

I also hate how they did "deadpool" WTF was that? not to mention the whole Team X thing. Where was maverick? the Blob was NOT part of it. come to think of it neither was stricker.

oh yeah Sabertooth kills Logans wife/gf (silverfox) in the early 1900's.

Deadpool was still cool...but it wasnt really Deadpool. Should have just named him something else at that point.

Deadpool was cool in the beginning before that monstrosity of an ending. There are so many things wrong in this movie.

I haven't watched it but they say the final version will have an additional 10 minutes so not really fair to judge at this point.

Rather than just follow one of the Wolverine story lines it was like they tried to combine them all. And use every character he ever interacted with along the way. If you didn't follow wolverine at all it might've been cool - so for the kids out there who never read any of the comics its going to play big. But for anyone that actually watched the xmen cartoon or read a wolverine comic its a insestualized version of everything that happened in the X-project story lines.

they have said before this is not for the casual movie goer and you will need to know some of the backstory to know who the people are.

The mutant at the end wasn't Deadpool - it was Weapon XI - a quasi-made up character for this movie. It was the genetic experiment of all of the mutants combined.

Deadpool, I thought, was done quite well. Ryan Reynolds was perfect for the role. They didn't go into his story very much (or at all), but what they did with him was true to the comics.

The biggest disappointment was Gambit. He was definitely only included as fan service. His actor didn't do the character justice and his part was mediocre.

Seemed like a really casting choice for gambit. Should have gotten someone gruffier

I think Sawyer from Lost would have been a better Gambit. He has the look. Just needs the Bayou twang and he's good to go.

Though the Gambit character in this movie was not particularly interesting, anyway, so I don't think it mattered who they cast.

I think it would be cool to see a movie without all the CGI and green screens. Just to see what kind of work they do to get a movie looking great.

Doesn't matter, movie was still weak as hell...for Liev Schreiber it was honestly bad.

But...what would one expect from a spin-off movie?

How does that not matter? The magic that those people work is AMAZING.

If the adtamadium bullets penetrated his skull, shouldnt that mean he now has a permannent hole in his head?
unless his mutant healing factor can repair adtamantium?!?!

edit:
1st half of movie was good.
the fight w/gambit was when the plot started going downhill.
(again, why on satan's green earth did gambit stop wolverine from decapitating sabertooth?)

I agree yet somewhat disagree. The workprint seems very well done but I find myself at a personal crossroad ... I never would go see a movie like this. It's a weird feeling when you are no longer in the demographic for the "blockbuster" summer hit!

yeah he should have holes in his head. wich wouldnt be good i would think.

well in the comics Gambit and Sabertooth have a history. could be what they are playing up.

in the comics Gambit is neither a good guy or a bad guy. even when he was with the X-men he was not always the "good guy".
