XMas tree solution...

Fed our tree to the goats

Three fainting goats, at least one more on the way (pregnant female). That's Patrick in the background (named after the Spongebob character). Sandy refused to pose for the photo, and Gruff was busy stealing cracked corn from the chickens.

I'm trying to decide...

is it environmentally friendly to cut down a tree, if instead of sending it to the landfill, you feed it to your goats?
Or, are my goats producing more methane, adding to global warming?!

lol bs.

I saw it on animal planet the other day they are running around then *thump* and a few seconds later they get up and start running again.

Hahahahaha

I want to find some fainting goats, come up behind them, and yell, just to make them faint.

Hahaha awesome.

lmao, sure, I could post a video of fainting goats... I probably will one day. But, it took me 10 minutes to upload just that photo! (dial up 🙁 The sad part of living in an area where you can raise fainting goats.) I don't scare them too often myself... I've been working on getting the one in the photo to eat from my hand - he wasn't bottle fed when he was young. For what it's worth, they're hilarious to watch, but seem to quickly become acclimated to certain "scary" things. They no longer all "faint" when my dogs go into their stall.
