Basically the white tree I had turned brown for unknown reason. The place I bought it from had a 5 year warranty and shipping me a replacement tree, but since it's very late in the season, they ran out of the exact size.

So I'm getting a 5.5 ft 45" round tree. How much light do I need ?

http://gardensgardens.wordpress.com...lights-and-ornaments-for-your-christmas-tree/ - 6ft @ 600, in my case 550?

That's a hell of a smoking habit you have.

Sorry, I have no idea or other helpful information.

haha, it turned brown in storage, i had one section store in attic and other half store in basement, both turned brown in the storage bag they provided.

Only the tree itself turned brown, the prelit light wires stay white, so it was the cheap paint they used on the actual tree.

I have a 6 foot tree and we used a 180 light LED string we got from Big Lots. Everyone who sees it says it looks great.

i'd say 5-600

So only a range of 595 lights huh? :p

It depends on the type of light. For some of the brighter LEDs you won't need nearly as many as the 'regular' lights. For those 250-300 would probably be enough. Otherwise I would say in the 450-550 range
