I still own a C2D before spending 230 bucks on a 2.2ghz opteron 175!!!...The E6400 would slap it around a bit...

I think they need to be even lower to be truly comparative to AMDs current performance....

Yeah I have to agree. I could see it maybe for a 939board user upgrade or a low end dual core system if you have to have an opteron instead of an X2 but thats about it.
