Xmas Bonus Poll

Nothing except a Christmas gift of a $25 WalMart card.

Not suprising from a company that froze wages for all of 2005, eliminated all other Christmas gifts (usually company jackets, t-shirts, hats, etc), cut back on everything including cutting magazine subscriptions in half, charity to zero, and possible cutback on cable TV (in cafeteria). Also removed life insurance from retirees, removed prescription drug coverage on retirees if they chose the Medicare Prescription drug plan, and removed 401k matches (2 years ago). Not suprising at all (not to mention moving 5 plants to Mexico! )

Edit: After 3,400+ hours this year, Engineer has placed himself on the job market again and is looking around. With the house paid off in a few months, don't even care about getting the same amount of money anymore....just something less stressful....*sigh*

eleven-ty billion dollars
LMAO I almost fell off the chair,

We had a party at work last week.
The bosses paid for the food, a few people brought stuff.

I brought a box of Ritz crackers, someone else brought cheese, and pepperoni.

There was pizza, giant sub, lotsa food. 🙂

No monetary bonus. eh.... glad to have a job.

It's a little late, but I finally got mine! It was sure worth the wait though! 🙂

...and yes it does suck seeing over $2600 get deducted in taxes. 🙁

We had a company christmas party a few weeks back... got picked up in a hummer limo, driven to a fancy steakhouse in DC where I ordered the maine lobster and we wined and dined ourselves while a party bus picked us up after dinner.

Tomorrow, I get my end of year bonus which will probably be a few hundred, but at least it's a straight up company check so no taxes will be taken out.

Bleh. Got a card from the owners of the company via email saying they were donating an uspecified amount to a charity they started last year. Not in my name mind you, just that they donated.

Gee. Great.
