XM Radio on a plane

Can I bring my portable XM on a plane? I'm flying to Seattle this weekend, and would like to bring XM > my ipod...is it allowed?

I doubt they'd notice the difference between it and a regular music player and that it'd have any sort of effect on the plane's travels..but I could be wrong.

I was going to post a thread asking if I can bring an Ipod, DS Lite on the plane and bring my Sirius Radio and GPS inside my luggage thru luggage check in.

Update:
I just found a list of items permit by TSA but nothing pertains to Sat Radio and GPS.

I've done it many times. I just put my antenna for my Myfi in between the shade and window and pull it halfway down. Note that depending on which way your plane is travelling and what side of the plane you are on, you may or may not get reception.

Some airlines specifically prohibit satellite radios, even though they are only receivers.

I've also used my PDA with Tomtom 5.0 and my bluetooth satellite receiver without anyone saying a word. Then again, it is easier to position the bluetooth receiver without anyone seeing it.
